Check out our new showreel that features three of our recent favourite short film projects The Martyr, Last Man on Earth and The Icehouse Project.
Our new 2017 reel focuses on three thrillers made in the last two years and all of them are film festival pedigree and have each won several awards. The reel kicks off with The Martyr, a slick 10-minute short that takes a different look at terror-related thrillers. It recently picked up Best Thriller at RATMA Film Festival. That award follows on from others from Screen Stockport Film Festival, Rolling Frames International Film Summit and several runners up and special mentions at others.
We focus next on The Icehouse Project – a collaboration with Tai Shan Productions. Again, this is in the thriller category. Four suspects are interrogated in an unorthodox game of cat and mouse following a brutal murder. Really enjoyed making this film and that hard work paid off with a recent Best Director win at Liverpool International Film Festival.
Rounding out the reel is our latest Sci-Fi thriller Last Man on Earth featuring Sixth Doctor Who Colin Baker. This short recently picked up Best Science Fiction at Droids and Dragons Sci-Fi and Fantasy Film Festival in Canada. It’s still out on its festival run (so there are some spoilers contained in the reel) and it’s already picked up official selections at a number of great film festivals including Starburst International Film Festival, Medway Visions presented by Nightpiece Film Festival and Celludroid Sci Fi Film Festival in South Africa.
We’re currently working on our editing-specific reel which casts a broad net including shorts, promos, documentary and music videos. Look out for that soon.
