Scotoma screens at Long Shot

Our short drama Scotoma, co-produced with Mark Callum’s Tai Shan Productions, has had its first festival screening as part of the Long Shot Micro Film Festival in Warrington.

Scotoma tells the story of Dawn, who is anxiously waiting at the crown courts to be called to the dock. With only her friend Jackie for comfort and support. Will she be able to hold herself together? It stars Tai Shan regular Nichola McHugh (Secret Hidden Princess, The Bag Lady) & Tracey Sheals (Radio Silence).

The film was screened as part of the annual Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival in a fantastic venue at the Pyramid & Parr Hall in Warrington’s Cultural District. It’s the fourth time Mark has made the cut at Long Shot, winning previously in 2011 with his short Crime of Conscious.

The screening follows on from our UK premiere at Kino Shorts in Manchester and we’re actively submitting the film to film events and festivals worldwide. Watch this space.
